Ecumenical Emergency Food Pantry

The Ecumenical Emergency Food Pantry, a non-profit volunteer organization, is located at the Thomas Slater Center at 2 Fisher Court in White Plains, and is dedicated to helping solve the problem of hunger in White Plains and surrounding areas. Food is distributed every Friday morning from 8 o’clock to 10:30. Clients are eligible for food twice a month, seniors every other week. Ninety or more singles and family units pickup bags of food (including staples, bread, eggs, meat, fresh fruit and/or vegetables) every Friday. Clothing is also available. The Pantry delivers to around forty homebound clients every other Thursday. Food is shelved and bags are packed by volunteers on Thursday mornings.
